Alaska Airlines
Tickets are now available for purchase, for flights starting May 16

Starting this spring Alaska Airlines will add daily nonstops between Seattle and Toronto.

Tickets are now available for purchase, for flights starting May 16.

Toronto will be the sixth Canadian city Alaska Airlines flies to, in addition to Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria. Going back to the early 1990s, Alaska Airlines offered nonstop service between Los Angeles and Toronto.

Last month Alaska Airlines announced its 30th global airline partnership, with Porter Airlines. Porter began new flights from Los Angeles to Toronto on January 16, and will start new service between San Francisco and Toronto on Jan. 25. Those flights, along with flights connecting on Alaska across the airline’s West Coast network, can now be purchased.

Outbound from Toronto, flights will depart at 3:40 p.m., arriving in Seattle at 5:55 p.m. On the return, flights depart Seattle at 7 a.m., arriving back in Toronto at 2:40 p.m.
