Delta Air Lines
Delta Air Lines launches new service to Naples and adds routes to Ireland, Zurich and more. The flight to Auckland, New Zealand from LAX also extends to year-round

Following a record-setting summer across the Atlantic, Delta customers can look forward to even more opportunities to explore sought-after locations across the globe next year. From hubs across the U.S., fliers can choose from the history-rich city of Naples, Italy; the lush, green landscape of Shannon, Ireland; the picturesque scenery of Zurich, Switzerland; and many more memorable destinations.

From New York-JFK

Delta is the largest carrier to Europe, Africa and the Middle East from its JFK hub and will operate nearly 260 weekly flights next summer to 18 countries and 29 destinations throughout the region.

For the first time, Delta will connect customers with nonstop service from JFK to the ancient city of Naples, Italy – the gateway to the Amalfi coast and popular sites like Mount Vesuvius. Delta’s new daily service to Naples — beginning May 23, 2024 — complements the airline’s existing service to Milan, Venice and Rome.

Delta will also return to Shannon, Ireland, from JFK, beginning May 23, 2024. Last operated in 2019, this nonstop service joins Delta’s existing flying to Dublin, including newly announced service to the Irish capital from Minneapolis-Saint Paul.

Rounding out Delta’s new trans-Atlantic offerings from JFK next summer is a nonstop flight to Munich, which will operate three times a week beginning April 9, 2024.

One other fun fact? Delta is the only carrier to offer a morning departure from JFK to Paris.

From Atlanta

For Delta customers looking to see Switzerland, Delta will again offer a nonstop flight from Atlanta to Zurich four times weekly beginning May 31, 2024, adding to the nearly 180 weekly flights to 21 destinations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East from the airline’s hometown hub.

Delta customers can also look for even more flights from Atlanta to Paris and Venice this summer, as the airline increases its weekly flights to both top destinations.

From Los Angeles

Meanwhile, on the U.S. west coast, Delta’s nonstop, daily flight from LAX to Auckland, New Zealand, which begins October 28, 2023, will extend to year-round service, operating daily from November to March and three times weekly from April to October. Delta will also increase service from LAX to Sydney, Australia, to twice-daily beginning this December.

Following winter service to Shanghai from Seattle and Detroit, Delta will also resume a four-times-weekly, year-round service to Shanghai-Pudong International Airport from its Los Angeles hub starting March 31, 2024. This previously operated route will allow Delta customers to conveniently connect to many other cities in China via the airline’s partnership with China Eastern Airlines.

Delta serves 13 international cities from LAX, including Paris, London, Tokyo-Haneda and Sydney – and from a newly completed Delta Sky Way at LAX.

More Flying to Customers Favorite

Delta customers can also look for even more flights to some of their top destinations next summer, including additional flights to Paris from Cincinnati and Detroit; to Barcelona from JFK; to Reykjavik from Detroit; and to Athens from Boston.

Spend Your Summer With Delta
