JetBlue welcomes President Biden’s signing of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act on November 15

JetBlue issued the following statement regarding the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act:

JetBlue welcomes President Biden’s signing of the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act on November 15. This legislation positions the nation to manage the challenges of climate change, a long-held priority for JetBlue as they have committed to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040. JetBlue is particularly excited about the bill's aviation investments including $25 billion for airports and its focus on bolstering aviation workforce diversity, another JetBlue priority.

JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes, who attended the White House signing ceremony, added: “This legislation enables meaningful enhancements to our nation’s roads, bridges and railways and will make travel safer, greener, and more equitable in all communities. Congratulations to President Biden and Congressional leaders – particularly JetBlue’s home-state Senator Majority Leader Schumer – on this accomplishment.
