June 25 - In response to many member requests over the last few months, ASTA has created a template COVID-19 travel waiver now available for download as an exclusive member-only resource.

Advisors may wish to consider the waiver to help them avoid liability should their clients’ travel be disrupted due to COVID-19 and financial losses results.

As with any waiver, there’s no guarantee that an advisor using it won’t be sued, or that it would be enforced if challenged in court, but it represents an additional measure of potential protection while the worldwide travel situation remains in flux.
