Compiled by Forbes Travel Guide’s expert mystery inspectors, more than 900 standards were taken into consideration

Preferred Hotels & Resorts - the world’s largest independent hotel brand with over 650 hotels, resorts, and residences in more than 80 countries - is proud to celebrate 98 of its member hotels recognized in the 65th annual Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards. The rising presence of the brand’s global portfolio in these, and other, prestigious annual travel awards demonstrates the value and enthusiasm the travel community places on the inspiring, personalized, and memorable guest experiences offered by independently owned and managed luxury hotels and resorts globally.

Compiled by Forbes Travel Guide’s expert mystery inspectors, more than 900 standards were taken into consideration with 70% of a property’s final rating focused on service and the remaining 30% attributed to the quality and condition of guest facilities and amenities.
