Contiki has rolled out its most extensive Europe trip collection in over 60 years, featuring 10 new itineraries including its first ever to Albania.

In addition to these new Europe trips, Contiki has also debuted two new budget trips to Peru.

To celebrate the launch of the new Europe itineraries, the tour operator is giving the first 10 travellers to book select trips 50% off, representing savings of up to $2,009. 

 

New Albania 

The new eight-day ‘Albania Beaches & Peaks’ trip showcases Albania’s emerging status as a top travel destination, recently ranking among the top three trending by MasterCard Economics Institute. Highlights include the white-sand beaches of the Albanian Riviera, hiking in Valbona National Park, cable car rides and historical architecture tours in Tirana, a scenic cruise on Lake Komani, a traditional Iso-Polyphony singing performance, and fresh cuisine at an agro-tourism farm, famously visited by Dua Lipa.

 

New Europe Trips

New Contiki trips in Europe include destinations like Mallorca, France, Greece, Austria, Switzerland and more. 

Top new trips include:

  • ‘Ancient Wonders: Rome, Athens, Cairo’: This 10-day journey explores three ancient civilizations and includes a visit to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, guided tours and free time in Rome, Athens and Cairo, plus an island-hopping day trip and an Italian cooking class.
  • ‘France in a Week’: This seven-day journey highlights picturesque chateaus, champagne houses, artisanal perfumeries, charming patisseries and historic Normandy D-Day beaches in France.
  • ‘Barcelona, Ibiza & Mallorca’: Guests will discover Spain’s coastal islands on this immersive trip, which features boat parties, flavourful food tours and historical explorations across Barcelona, Ibiza and Mallorca.
  • ‘Paris to Rome by Train’: This train journey connects Paris, Venice, Milan and Lausanne and gives guests ample free time to explore each city’s attracitons.
  • ‘Culture & Coastlines in Morocco’ and ‘Best of Morocco’: Guests can delve in Morocco’s diverse landscapes and cultural heritage with these expanded itineraries featuring visits to the Agafay Desert and Ait Mansour Valley.
  • ‘French Christmas Markets’: Following the success of Contiki’s German Christmas markets trip, this new itinerary invites travellers to experience the festive charm of French Christmas markets.

The first 50 travellers to book select ‘launch departures’ on five new Europe trips will receive an exclusive 50% discount from Contiki, with significant savings of up to $2,009 off the original price. New Peru Trips

In South America, Contiki has introduced two new budget-friendly trips to Peru: ‘Lima to Machu Picchu Road Trip’ and ‘Peru: Lima to Huaraz.’ These trips are part of Contiki’s expanded Latin America collection and include English- and Spanish-speaking Trip Managers, quality hostel accommodations, internal transport and comfortable sleeper coaches.

  • ‘Lima to Machu Picchu Road Trip’: This 11-day itinerary covers Peru’s must-see highlights, including the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, sand buggy rides in Huacachina, aerial views of the Nazca Lines, boat tours of the Ballestas Islands, cultural experiences at Lake Titicaca and a visit to a Pisco vineyard.
