Avianca
The airline will operate the route starting on October 27 with seven flights per week between the two cities

Avianca announced the launch of direct sales for the new route connecting Bogotá with Chicago, starting on October 27.

The airline flew between El Dorado International Airport and O'Hare International Airport from 2018 to 2019, and after a five-year hiatus, it resumes this route with seven weekly flights. The route will be flown using A320 aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers, offering more than 2,500 seats per week.

The return of this route will strengthen connectivity across the Americas, allowing millions of travelers in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, to connect to the Windy City through Bogotá.

Tickets are available for sale on avianca.com, the Avianca app, direct sales points, and travel agencies.

More than 10 destinations to fly to the United States:

Chicago is the 13th city Avianca will fly to in North America, joining a network of destinations that connect its travelers to: Boston, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Washington, Houston, New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, Miami, Ontario, San Francisco, and, starting October, Chicago.

Currently, Avianca's customers have access to a network of 150 routes connecting 75 destinations in 25 countries across the Americas and Europe.
