SUPPLIER: Hong Kong Tourism Board
The Hong Kong Tourism Board’s new Hong Kong Specialist (HKS) Club aims to recognize “the support we have received from trade partners in promoting Hong Kong over the years,” says the HKTB.
They have a new agent incentive where three trips will be given out.
The loyalty program offers a range of exclusive benefits for travel agents visiting Hong Kong, including special trade deals on the city’s latest products and offerings.
How to enter
Agents who join the program also get the opportunity to win an incentive trip to Hong Kong in late 2017. There are three trips to be won and the prize details include:
• Five nights accommodation in Hong Kong
• An all-inclusive incentive program in company with other Hong Kong Specialists from around the world.
• The trip is scheduled to take place from Oct. 23 – 29, 2017.
• Flights will be provided by the program’s airline sponsor, Cathay Pacific, in Y class from either Vancouver or Toronto.
To enter the contest agents must like the HKTB Facebook page and fill in the necessary form. Last day to submit it is September 27, 2017.
For agents who are planning to visit Hong Kong on their own in the coming months there is a new, complimentary welcome pack especially designed for Hong Kong Specialists.
The pack contains free tickets and admissions on Big Bus Tours, Hong Kong TramOramic Tours, DukLing Harbour Cruises, MTR Tourist Day Pass, a Discover Hong Kong Tourist SIM Card (5-Day Pass) and admission to Sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck for the world’s best city views. Items in the welcome pack are subject to change according to the availability of product.
In addition to the welcome pack more than 40 trade partners in Hong Kong are offering travel agents travelling to Hong Kong on personal trips discounts on their products and services.
These industry offers range from special hotel room rates and free entry to attractions to discounted local tours. These offers will be updated from time to time and some offers are also extended to travel companions.
These are exclusive offers for qualified Hong Kong Specialists who have completed three modules and are currently employed in the travel industry, says the HKTB.
The HKTB suggests agents promote their expertise by using the Hong Kong Specialist logo on their business card, email signature, eDM and more? “This will let your clients know you are a specialist on Hong Kong, Asia’s World City.”
