Sandals has got your clients covered while you are on vacation!

January 15 - Sandals has announced that it will be offering complimentary in-resort COVID-19 testing through March 31, 2021.

The news comes on the heels of new testing requirements announced by both the Canadian and U.S. governments.

Tests will be conducted by approved and practiced medical professionals, with convenience and minimal distraction to the vacation experience in mind.

Upon arrival at their resort, guests will be assisted in making all necessary arrangements to schedule an on-site COVID-19 test. This will be done at least 72 hours before their departure, with test results made available within 24 hours.

Through our Sandals Resorts Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness, we are committed to ensuring our valued guests’ health and safety,” said Sandals Resorts in an official statement. “We are dedicated to ensuring that we follow all developments in real-time to safeguard their vacation experience best so that they can always travel with confidence.

In the event that a guest tests positive for COVID-19 prior to departure, the Sandals team will offer on-site support in line with all CDC and WHO best practices. They’ll also be covered through the Travel Protection Insurance – purchased by Sandals on their behalf – that affords coverage for up to a 14-night stay, at no extra cost to them. Additional benefits as part of this plan include coverage of medical expenses and maximum benefits of up to US$100,000 per person.
