Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit protects traveling bees

Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit hotel launched its Guardians of Wildlife program focused on protecting the bees found along the coast of the Mexican Pacific Ocean. In addition to being chosen by valued guests each year, bees also prefer the Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit to rest and feed during their pollination journey. As part of the program, the hotel built temporary “suites” for the traveling bees. These wooden structures, conditioned with honey and pheromones to attract them inside, provide a comfortable space for them to take a break and build their hives.
