Playa Resorts shares important updates on the cancellation policies

 

NEW BOOKINGS – reservations booked after April 13, 2020, through June 30, 2021 For Travel July 1, 2020, and beyond

• New reservations made through June 30th (booking date) the 24-hour cancellation policy will be in place where reservations can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24-hours prior to arrival. On July 1, 2021 cancellation policy will revert to pre-COVID non-holiday policy of 14-days. Any reservations made after July 1, 2021 may be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 14-days prior to arrival. 14-day payment policy will remain in place for both cancellation policies

          • Christmas/New Year’s (12/25/21-1/1/22) holiday period: reservations may only be changed or canceled at no charge up to 30-day prior to arrival
          • President’s Week 2022: February 17 – February 21, 2022: 14-day cancellation policy applies, payment policy is at 14 days
          • Easter 2022: April 7, 2022-April 17, 2022 – 14 day cancellation policy applies, payment policy is at 14 days

• Full payment for the stay is due at 14 days prior to arrival (30 days for peak holiday dates)
• Early departure = 100% no refund for unused nights
• No Show = 100% no refund

 

For reservations booked prior to April 13, 2020 - Travel July 1, 2020 and beyond

• Cancellation policies at the time of booking apply • Reservations are in full penalty if canceled inside 14 days of travel • Early departure = 100% no refund for unused nights • No Show = 100% no refund

 

For guests that need to cancel reservations booked via a third-party website or travel agent, please contact the travel professional that made the original reservation to reschedule your upcoming travel plans.
