The funding has run out and implementation problems have plagued the program

April 17 - As you know, on April 3 the Small Business Administration (SBA) launched the $349 billion Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), one of the central relief programs included in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

While Congress intended the PPP to be a lifeline to help small businesses through the immediate crisis, funding has run out and implementation problems have plagued the program. So, even as we gear up for the next round of legislation, we need to press Congress and the SBA to fund and fix the PPP today.

ASTA knows you are busy, but please take two minutes out of your day to contact your Members of Congress through and ask them to fund and fix the PPP.
