Updates regarding U.S. travelers returning from international destinations, as well as COVID-19 antigen testing on property

AMR™ Collection would like to provide you with important updates regarding U.S. Travelers returning from international destinations, as well as COVID-19 antigen testing on property.

U.S. Traveler Update

Effective November 8, 2021, all U.S. citizens who are unvaccinated will be required to show a negative COVID-19 test taken within one day of departure to the U.S. This new policy is a change from the previous three day requirement, which remains in place for vaccinated travelers.

Children between the ages of 2 and 17 are required to take a pre-departure COVID-19 test in order to enter the U.S., regardless of citizenship. Children under 2 years of age are exempt from the testing requirement, and children under 18 are exempt from having to provide proof of vaccination.

Additionally, airlines will now verify vaccination status – in addition to negative COVID-19 test results – to ensure individuals comply with the correct testing timeframe based on their vaccination status.

AMR™ Collection properties will continue to offer COVID-19 testing on property for all guests.

For more information, please visit the CDC website and the U.S. State Department website, or contact your airline.

On-Property COVID-19 Antigen Testing

Effective for new bookings made on or after November 15, 2021, the resorts are pleased to continue to offer complimentary antigen testing for guests staying in a club level category or higher for three nights or more. Additionally, antigen testing is still available for all guests staying in other room categories for a nominal fee that may vary by destination. Please click here for more information on testing and prices.

For all bookings made before November 15, 2021, complimentary antigen tests will be honored regardless of the room category booked.

Costa Rica Traveler Update

Beginning January 8, 2022, the Costa Rican government will implement a new regulation mandating that all hotel guests must be fully vaccinated. As of January 8, 2022, resorts are pleased to continue to welcome fully vaccinated guests to all properties in Costa Rica. Both international and national guests visiting Costa Rica who are not fully vaccinated as of January 8, 2022, are welcome to enter the country, but will not be allowed at restaurants or on hotel property.

For more information on protocols in place, please visit the CleanComplete Verification™ website.
