The pilots have a thorough knowledge of the mountainous terrain and an ingrained respect for the Icelandic weather.

 

Maintenance and Quality

Norðurflug puts safety first and therefore and have their own in house maintenance facility and the fleet is serviced around the clock by the company's own technician. It goes without saying that Norðurflug has a few decades of experience and training int he aviation industry.

2. NF cares about the environment and will fly such as to minimize the disturbance inevitably being generated from helicopters.
