A must do dining experience when visiting St. Kitts

“By far the best dining experience I have had”- a recent quote from a Canadian traveller returning from two weeks in St. Kitts. This gentleman and his wife are referring to the exquisite and elegant restaurant Pavilion, which is located in prestigious Christophe Harbour in the south east peninsula of the island.

The traveller have had the opportunity to dine at Pavilion many times and it never disappoints. Its one of those culinary experiences that combines the aesthetic beauty of a stunningly well- designed space, with incredibly well thought out plates and a cooling Caribbean Sea breeze all in one place.

Word is getting out on just how good the dining scene is in St. Kitts and Nevis. Travellers looking for a more experiential vacation combined with very good dining options to match are finding St. Kitts to be their new favourite place. Its not hard at all to list the top ten dining spots sprinkled around these two beautiful sister islands, and it seems Pavilion finds its way to the top of that list regularly.

Christophe Harbour marina moors some of the worlds finest super yachts and magnificent sailboats, and the surrounding geography is home to the top- drawer Park Hyatt St. Kitts, beautiful Carambola Beach Club, happy hour hot spot Salt Plage, dramatic coastline and of course Pavilion restaurant.

Some insider tips: come a bit early to enjoy cocktails at one of the best-looking bars I have seen in the Caribbean and do not be intimidated by the gatehouse upon arrival as all guests to Pavilion require reservations and are greeted accordingly. Once there take in the surroundings, the attention to detail and the savoury aromas in the air.
