What could be more relaxing than a trip to Hawaii? A trip to a Hawaiian spa, of course. This winter, luxury resorts throughout the islands are fielding packages and offers galore to help visitors unwind during a vacation in Hawaii.

Travelers can take advantage of special room rates, value-added benefits and more, all while treating themselves to world-class spa experiences that draw from traditional Hawaiian healing techniques and use decadent beauty products from some of the world’d best-known luxury brands. 

 

Oahu

Situated right in the heart of Waikiki, the landmark Halekulani's history dates back to 1883, when tourism first came to the shores of Oahu. The resort has become one of Hawaii's most iconic luxury hotels thanks to its unparalleled location, exceptional service and sumptuous accommodations, all of which exemplify that famous Hawaiian aloha spirit.

The resort offers a ‘SpaHalekulani’ package that includes the guest’s choice of either a 90-minute private fitness session with a personal trainer, or the spa’s locally inspired 80-minute lomi lomi massage for two guests per stay plus a SpaHalekulani gift.

 

 

The Kahala became an overnight Oahu landmark when it first opened its doors back in 1964. At 550-square-feet, its guestrooms are still among the largest in Hawaii, and the property is now a member of Leading Hotels of the World.

Kauai

The St. Regis Princeville is the legendary brand's only hotel in Hawaii, and boasts a level of luxury rarely seen on Kauai, not to mention some of the island's most spectacular views, perched as it is above the dramatic cliffs of Hanalei Bay.

Among the alluring amenities the resort if offering its winter ‘Breakfast with a View and 4th Night Free’ package. It includes daily breakfast for two at the hotel’s Makana Terrace and more.

 

 

The Island of Hawaii

In major hotel news, the Hapuna Beach Prince Resort is undergoing a $46 million renovation and conversion into The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort this winter. The hotel will reopen its doors in March 2018 with an eye towards meeting the needs of today's travelers with updated amenities, a unique Hawaiian character that speaks to the Westin brand's commitment to exploration and wellness, and all-new property enhancements and guest experiences. 

Visitors can still count on staying in some of the largest guestrooms on the Kahala Coast - 249 in all including 232 rooms and 17 suites - all redesigned from top to bottom and featuring signature Westin-brand furnishings and fixtures including Westin Heavenly Beds and Heavenly Showers.
