Popular halloween experiences go virtual!

Nantucket:

Inquirer Mirror Halloween Parade Goes Virtual

The Inquirer and Mirror (I&M) will hold an online costume contest this year instead of its popular Main Street Halloween parade, due to concerns it would be essentially impossible to hold the event in a responsible, socially-distanced way.

The I&M is asking readers to submit their favorite photos of themselves in costume in three categories: Best Family or Group Themed Costume, Best Kids’ Costume and Best Pet Costume. This virtual event expands the opportunity and allows off-island readers and their families to participate as well. Winners will be announced in the 5 November edition of the I&M.
